DISTRIBUTION-In winters throughout NORTHERN & NE INDIA rare in Central India,Bangladesh ,Pakistan,Myanmar
HABITS-Arrives about October and departs by Mid March
HABITATE-Wetlands,large lakes & watersbodies
NESTING SEASON-April to june in Laddakh and Tibet
Nest-A depression in lush herbage bordeing the high altitude lakes,thickly lined with feathers.
